Five Ingredient Feast

I’m excited to share that the new Five Ingredient Feast website is officially live! View it Here>

A few years ago, Julia Mullaney started Five Ingredient Feast by creating videos featuring simple, elevated meals using just five ingredients. What started as a passion project, sharing recipes on social media and sending newsletters to friends, quickly grew into something much bigger.

Julia started with a WordPress blog to house some of her recipes. But as she expanded into collaborations, partnerships, and new opportunities, it became clear that she needed more than just a place to post recipes.

She needed a true digital home.

Our goal was to create a website that captured Julia’s unique point of view around food while making it easier for people to discover, explore, and connect with her work.

What we focused on:

  • A better recipe experience
We created a more organized, searchable recipe library so visitors can easily find meals.

  • A strong brand story
The new site allows Julie to explain why her approach about food: creating meals that feel elevated without being complicated.

  • A collaboration hub for brands
We built a dedicated page showcasing the types of collaborations Julia offers, examples of past work, and audience insights, making it easier for brands to work with her.

  • A new way to grow her audience
We also created a lead magnet: a Five Ingredient Weeknight Meal Plan complete with recipes and a shopping list that you can download for free.

The Design

We wanted the website to feel like Five Ingredient Feast: approachable, thoughtful, and a little unexpected.

We incorporated:

  • Soft sage tones paired with rich cream

  • Playful food illustrations throughout the site

  • Typography that feels professional while still bringing in a sense of fun and personality

This project was a great reminder that a website should evolve alongside a business. What starts as a place to share content can become a powerful tool for storytelling, connection, partnerships, and growth.

Your website should do more than showcase what you do, it should tell your story, connect with your ideal audience, and create opportunities for growth. Ready to create a website that works as hard as you do? Let’s talk.
